Cross-Stitch Fabric Art

Cross Stitch and Fabric Art like Embroidery, AppliquĂ© and Tapestry is unique. It’s an original piece. The work is easily damaged and will deteriorate if framed inappropriately. I am often asked to repair work that has previously been glued down for example. Gluing or taping is not an acceptable method of mounting fabrics. It may look fine initially but very quickly the glue will either come through to the surface or just fail. This will ruin the work which will have undoubtably taken many hours to complete.

Give your work the respect it deserves and have it traditionally laced, mounted and framed.
